Consult Duration

The duration for a standard consult with a psychologist is 50 minutes.

Medicare Consults

In order to be eligible for Medicare consults a Mental Health Care Plan and referral from a general practitioner is required. Please be advised that a gap payment is still payable for all Medicare consults. ​

Private Consults

Private consults do not require a referral letter and can be claimed on your private health insurance. For the amount of your rebate please consult your private health care provider.

Assessments

Assessments do not require a referral. Assessments include all testing, relevant consults, and a formal report. OK Psychology provides Educational Assessments, Attention Deficit Disorder/Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADD/ADHD) assessments and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessments.

NDIS

 OK Psychology works with child, adolescent and adult clients who are self-managed or plan-managed via the NDIS.

Workers Compensation and Motor Vehicle Accidents (WC/MVA)

We accept referral from lawyers and doctors for these cases. Please note that you are responsible for your fees; either via the insurer (for accepted claims) or via your own means (if your claim is not accepted by the insurer).

Hypnosis

Hypnosis consults are treated as a private consult or Medicare consult.
